This morning boys and girls showed creativity, challenge and independence by performing outstanding linked movements and sequences in assembly. The audiences were wowed by their advanced movements and showed their appreciation with great applause. Year 5 Boys and Girls House Matches showcased excellent core skills in both Touch Rugby and Football as a result of their learning during Games lessons. The children competed valiantly for their Houses which finished with Oryx winning the boys' Touch Rugby and Falcon winning the girls' Football. Congratulations to all children who took part and thank you to the parents for supporting. Dear Parents,
I would like to invite you to support and watch your child during their House Matches next week. The children have been working hard to develop their skill set in Games along with improving their knowledge and understanding of the game. Year 5 House Matches will be on Sunday 22nd October at 1.40pm-2.35pm and Year 6 House Matches will be on Monday 23rd October at 1.40pm-2.35pm. Boys will be playing Touch Rugby on the Secondary Pitch. Girls will be playing Football on the Primary Pitch. The PE Department look forward to seeing you.

The boys looked at creating space by drawing a defender in a 2v1 situation at the start of the lesson, before progressing onto looking at how defensive organisation works with trust in teamwork and communication.

7.25-7.40am Primary Sports Hall Year 1 and Year 2 children and parents are invited to join our BSAK PE Team in our Wake Up! Shake Up! exercise session. Start the day with fun, light exercise to music and then relax with yoga.
